The tiling NVQ is a work-based qualification that enables you to work as a wall and floor tiler in the construction industry. The Level 2 NVQ qualification is suitable if you are currently (or previously been) employed or working as a tiler, and have acquired knowledge and experience over time. You now wish to demonstrate and confirm, by way of a formal qualification, your ability to work safely and competently to a recognised national standard. Whilst Diplomas can certainly teach you advanced skills and gain employment, some large construction sites require the tiling NVQ to demonstrate you are able to work safely and competently on-site.
This qualification is for expereinced tilers.
We will carry out an initial assessment and induction and provide a portfolio for your work. One of our qualified assessors will visit you when you are working to assess you working and gather evidence.

Upon completion of the NVQ, you can apply to CSCS, or other industry card schemes, to gain a skills card that will enable you to work on site.
Our support does not end when your qualification is complete! You can attend the school for free advice and attend our specialist training days.
