A comprehensive 7 weeks wall and floor tiling course with an industry recognised qualification. This is a formal tiling trade qualification and is ideal for students who want to develop their career or for anyone who wishes to begin a new career as a tiler.
This course allows you to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in Wall and Floor Tiling.
You will be fully supported by our tutors throughout the qualification. Our small classes mean you will have plenty of support and hands on guidance from your tutor and assessors.
It is possible to split this course into smaller sections to fit around work or other commitments.
Each Unit of the course contains practical assessments, which are assessed by one of our qualified assessors, with evidence kept to build up a complete portfolio. There are also multiple-choice tests, which can be undertaken at the centre or on your own PC.
The Diploma covers the following in depth:
Preparing Backgrounds for Tiling
Forming sand and cement screeds
Tile Wall Surfaces
Tile Floor Surfaces
After completing the Diploma, you may want to progress onto the tiling NVQ at a later date and you can also complete that with us.
You can also join our support group on completion for support and to arrange onsite work experience.

Business start up training is optional on all of our courses – our experienced tutors will guide you on establishing and running your business.
