Following the success of our hugely popular Venetian Plastering courses this year, we’re delighted to announce we have places available in October. Seeing a massive resurgence in popularity, Venetian Plastering is a specialist artisan technique resulting in beautiful finishes.

Our intensive 3-day course of classic Italian polished plasters is taught in collaboration with Whitson's Ltd and led by Rob Groom, a polished plaster specialist of 15 years. Cait Whitson herself is also available to offer technical advice and support. This course will cover everything you need to get yourself off the ground using polished and textured plaster.

You will leave the course understanding preparation, priming, how to apply classic Venetian Plasters and how to apply protection. You will be guided with personal attention through techniques that will broaden your skill base and give confidence to use most of the plasters that Whitson’s Ltd supply. Whilst previous trowel experience would be advantageous, this course is suitable for beginners and those who want to bring their previous tuition up to date.
