Matty McHale retains his Commonwealth Super-Flyweight Title in his hometown of Edinburgh

Our tiling instructor Matthew “Matty” McHale, has defended his Commonwealth Silver Super-Flyweight Title after a punch perfect performance and stoppage in the 11th round.

This win was extra special, with the fight taking place in a packed Portobello Town hall, with all of Matty's friends and supporters there to cheer him on.

Before turning professional, Matty’s amateur achievements included:

• 🥉 Bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games (Team Scotland)
• 🌍 Participation in the World Championships
• 🇪🇺 Competed at the European Championships
• 🥊 Challenged for the British Title earlier this year

All while continuing to support and train students as a valued member of our team.
